Navigating LGBTQ+ Rights and Safety in Turbulent Times
Along with support groups and wellness classes, they offer HIV/STI testing, access to PrEP and PEP, connection to HIV care and treatment, and LGBTQ+-affirmative therapy. OUTMemphisOUTMemphis provides a number of services to the LGBTQ community in Memphis including free STI/HIV testing, social activities, youth meetings, transgender services, and more. They offer full primary care, HIV/STI testing and treatment, PrEP, mental health services, preventative health screenings, and transgender health services including hormone therapy. Outside InOutside In provides many LGBTQ+ services, including primary medical care (gender affirming hormones and surgical referrals), community resources (for food clothing, and housing), and QueerZone (which include activities for young people). They provide multiple support groups and mental health resources including their Genderscope program which provides a safe space and discussion group for transgender, gender nonconforming, and gender-questioning youth.

They offer primary care, pediatric, behavioral health and preventive services without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation or immigration status.
Gender Spectrum helps gender-diverse kids and teens find community, care, and support. Therapy for Queer People of Color provides mental healthcare exclusively for QTPoC. They can connect you to identity-affirming care providers, find a safe place to practice your faith, give advice on coming out to family and friends, or just offer a listening ear. You should feel empowered to access the help you need to care for yourself and your mental health — regardless of gender or sexual orientation. LGBTQ+ people used mental health services at 2.5 times higher rates than their heterosexual counterparts. NAMI reports that people in the LGBTQ+ community struggle in silence due to barriers to care — and face worse health outcomes as a result.
